How to use SIM card in a GL.iNet Router
SIM on Routers
Please set the APN of your router to the corresponding APN of your SIM. You need to set the APN on the router first to make it match with the sim card, so the sim can work. Please check your router manual about the APN settings. Or please contact the router manufacturer for assistance with APN settings.
Connect to a GL.iNet Router:
1.Insert the sim in the router;
2.Open a web browser (we recommend Chrome, Edge, Safari) and visit the setting web link of your router (please check it on the manual). You will be directed to the initial setup of the web Admin Panel.
3.After the initial setup, you will enter the web Admin Panel of the router.
4.Find the NETWORK setting, and tap “Manual Setup”and change the APN to the corresponding APN of your sim.

Note: The bicsapn setting for ICCID starting with 893204xxx is available in all regions, so users can select it based on their location.
5.Save settings. please remove the sim card from the router and then re-insert it to the router again.
How to install a EIOTCLUB eSIM on GL-iNet routers?
1.Place an order to get the physical eSIM
Purchase a physical eSIM from an online store and you will receive a physical eSIM with an EID number
2.Insert the physical eSIM into the GL-iNet router and wait for connection
Insert the physical eSIM card into the router and log in to the GL-iNet management platform for setup. Since there are many GL-iNet devices, please refer to the manual that comes with GL-iNet for detailed settings.
Note: You need to check your apn settings, if the router default apn is different from your eSIM card's apn, you need to set the apn manually, according to your eSIM ICCID to choose the appropriate apn to set:
